Clean the surface of the car. In practice, it is sufficient to thoroughly clean the surfaces with, for example, glass cleaner. Degreasing is not absolutely necessary.

Mix approximately 1 liter of warm water with 1-2 drops of dish soap or liquid soap in a pot and take it to your vehicle. Alternatively, you can use a spray bottle.

Dip the foil cutout into the liquid so that the adhesive side is moistened. Also moisten the surface to be covered with your fingers.

Position the foil cutout on the surface. You can reposition the cutout as often as needed and move it around thanks to the film of liquid on the surface. If the foil becomes too dry, simply dip it back into the liquid.

Squeeze out the water with your finger or a squeegee. Depending on the surface, it helps to hold the film in place with your other hand. You'll need to go over the film several times, pressing it down with firmer pressure each time. For flat surfaces, you can use a squeegee for this.
The adhesive only activates after a moment due to pressure and moisture. This property allows for perfect positioning of the cutout, but can also mean that the film does not adhere immediately.
For strongly rounded surfaces or edges, it can help to warm the film with a hairdryer.
