A. Cancellation Policy
Introduction
Consumers have a right of withdrawal under the following conditions. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither attributable to their commercial nor self-employed professional activity.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the delivery person, received the last item.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Schwarz E-Commerce, Voßstraße 29, 30161 Hannover, email : info@valueshield.de ) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal statement (e.g. by post or email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.
To comply with the cancellation period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of exercising your right of cancellation before the deadline expires.
Consequences of the revocation
In the event of cancellation, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery charges (excluding any additional costs incurred if you chose a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery option and any storage fees incurred by the customer, such as storage at a DHL/post office branch), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received your cancellation notice. For this reimbursement, we will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no case will you be charged any fees for the reimbursement. Reimbursement may be withheld until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You are obligated to return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your cancellation. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.
You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods. If we have already advanced these costs, for example, if you refuse to accept the return or fail to collect the item from the collection point, this amount will be deducted from the refund.
You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling that is not necessary for testing the condition, properties and functionality of the goods.
The buyer is liable for any transport damage during return shipping.
General information
- Please avoid damaging or soiling the goods. If possible, return the goods to us in their original packaging with all accessories and packaging materials. Use protective outer packaging if necessary. If the original packaging is no longer available, please ensure suitable packaging to prevent damage during transport.
- Please do not return the goods to us freight collect.
- The aforementioned information (points 1-2) is not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
